Campbell Caspary
Campbell Caspary, born in Berlin in 1994, studied scenography at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF from 2012 to 2016. He subsequently studied acting at the University of Music and Theatre “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” Leipzig from 2016 to 2019. In 2017, he participated in a masterclass with Jan Fabre as part of the Impulstanz Festival in Vienna.
His first stage appearances took him to Schauspiel Köln in 2018, where he became a member of the ensemble and worked until 2020. He subsequently joined the ensemble of Staatstheater Karlsruhe for one season.
Since 2022, Campbell Caspary has worked as a freelance actor and dancer. He has performed, among others, at Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin in productions by Constanza Macras and René Pollesch, as well as at Thalia Theater Hamburg, Opernhaus Zürich and the Salzburg Easter Festival. He has a close artistic collaboration with director Kirill Serebrennikov and his group Kirill & Friends. He also appears in various film and television productions.
Campbell Caspary has been a permanent member of the ensemble of the Maxim Gorki Theater since the 2026/27 season.
