Nikola Bojić

Dr. Nikola Bojić is a theorist, artist, and curator whose work explores relationships between space, technology, and politics. He earned degrees in Art History and Museology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, and completed a postgraduate degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Design with the thesis on memory politics and public art. His projects have been presented at Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, the Taipei Biennial, Moderna Museet in Stockholm, ZKM Karlsruhe, the Venice Architecture Biennale, and the Milan Design Triennale, among others. He is the author of the artist’s book Excavations: The Sinking Gardens, guest editor of the 96th issue of Life of Art on experimental cartography, and a contributing editor of Vibraception, a transdisciplinary volume on spatial sound, vibration, and waves. He previously conducted doctoral research at the Institute of Art History in Zagreb on the production of space in Socialist Yugoslavia. He was a visiting lecturer at MIT (ACT) and is currently an assistant professor and head of the Theory Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb.
