Theda Nilsson-Eicke

Theda Nilsson-Eicke, born in Landskrona, Sweden, in 1981, is a director, author, and installation artist. She studied architecture at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Her large-scale installations operate at the intersection of theatre and visual art and shift the boundaries between physical space and virtual worlds. In addition to the 240-hour performance MEAT at the Schaubühne Berlin (2014), her work has been presented at the Berliner Ensemble, Schauspiel Köln, Schauspielhaus Wien, and the Wiesbaden Biennale. She lives and works in Berlin.
